The Challenge

Designing Aperture was exciting but challenging.

Here are some challenges I faced while designing it.

  1. Research on the Photographer and his life

  2. Finding high quality photos

  3. Fixing photos where needed.

Making a Zine that is heavy on photography itself is a challenge and making sure that each photo is perfect and does justice to the photographers work was another challenge.

  1. Research and Understanding

  2. Finding Content

  3. Ideation

  4. Making layouts

  5. Digitalization

  6. Refinement

  7. Finalization

Solution

When designing Aperture I wanted to have something that highlights the photography thus I chose a minimalistic layout that has a lot of breathing room and that highlights on the content and the work done by David Lazar.
